The Farm Lab @ Terra Corazón....
Is a farm within a farm. The Farm Lab is focusing on applying permaculture design and regenerative agriculture practices to produce the highest quality perennial foods, fruits, flowers, and more all while repairing the ecosystem.
The main products that we are growing are olives, dragon fruit (pitaya), lavender, herbs, and floral crops of eucalyptus, acacia, proteas, and other flowers. We also seasonally produce annual flowers and herbs.
Our growing methods are rather unique. First, we never plant in monocultures! Our plants are mainly raised in perennial polycultures of tree based systems. Some might call this a food forest or agroforestry system.
